Please ensure that you attend the graduation ceremony of the qualification you were registered for. Your qualification will be awarded or conferred on the following date and time:

VENUE
The graduation ceremony will take place in the Auditorium on the Auckland Park Kingsway Campus. Kindly refrain from bringing babies and children under the age of five to the graduation ceremony.
TICKETS: CANDIDATE AND GUESTS
Before collection of your gown please report to the registration desk (in front of the foyer of the auditorium, E Ring) at least one hour before commencement of the ceremony (12:00). You will be issued with your seat card and tickets for your guests. All graduates receive three guest tickets.
Kindly ensure that you and your guests are seated 45 minutes before the start of the graduation ceremony. Please note that the collection of academic attire and taking of photos requires at least 1 hour of your time. It is therefore strongly recommended that you arrive at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony.
You are kindly requested not to bring babies and children under the age of five to the ceremony.
FOR SECURITY REASONS, ANYONE WHO ARRIVES LATE FOR A GRADUATION CEREMONY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE AUDITORIUM.
CERTIFICATES / DIPLOMAS IN ABSENTIA
If you cannot receive your certificate/diploma in person, please make arrangements for the collection of the certificate (see attached form). Because of security reasons, unclaimed certificates will not be posted.
DRESS CODE
The dress code for the occasion is formal or smart traditional. The graduation ceremony is a formal event. Kindly dress accordingly.
YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE GRADUATION CEREMONY WEARING JEANS, SANDALS, SHORTS, TEKKIES OR FLIP-FLOPS.
All graduands should wear clothes and shoes that will not impede their movement across the stage or hinder their ability to kneel in front of the Chancellor for the capping.
ACADEMIC ATTIRE
Certificates and Diplomas: R530-00 (a refundable deposit of R300-00 included)
ONLY CASH IS ACCEPTED (NO CHEQUES, REDIT OR DEBIT CARDS)
THE RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Dippenaar and Reinecke will be on campus. For purchasing of gowns please contact them on, tel: (012) 343 2945/7.
Return of gowns: The supplier will be available directly after the ceremony to collect the gowns.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND FRAMES
The official photographer (The Image Factor, Tel: (0861 666601) will be available in the D Ring walkway. The photographer will take three photos and provide an order form for them.
PARKING
As a result of a shortage of parking facilities, you are kindly requested to park across the main entrance (on the northern side of Kingsway). A shuttle service will be available.
CANCELLATION AS A RESULT OF NOT QUALIFYING
If, for whatever reason it transpires that you do not qualify for the conferment of this qualification, the University reserves the right to cancel this invitation.
